I am excited to be carrying a new line of embroidery thead. This is a polyester thread instead of rayon. The poly thread has the same sheen as the rayon and is more durable. We have 330 different colors. We were also able to get 10 packs of 100 spools at a discount and pass on to the consumer. This is $600 of thread for only $279. But we haven’t gotten them in yet and will have an email sent out when we do. Right now the tread is at portland and beaverton only.
As I look around today I see a lot of yellow and green, next year we will see a little more orange and black.
A lot of excitement for all that we are learning about embroidery. Great day.
Thank you, thank you, thank you EW for all the pears you sent. We will put them to good use

Well, it took a few weeks but Kathi just finished embroidering Anita Goodesign’s Christmas Village collection and it looks great! It’s a wonderful image of a traditional English village during Christmas time, broken up into 8 different tile sections. After embroidering all of the sections, she then quilted them together so that it looks as if you are viewing the scene through your living room window. It really must be seen to be believed. Next time you drop by the Beaverton store, make sure to take a peek!
Hello, I have 2 quilts currently hanging at our Fabric Depot location that have been entered into our Embroidery contest. They wont be up very long so come check them out. I am hanging 2 more up later this week and will post the pictures also.
The Marti Graz quilt was pieced, embroidered and quilted by Donette Murphy.
The Baltimore Quilt was pieced and embroidered by Luise Posch on a BMP6. The quilting was done by Val Pellens.
They all have been long time customers.
No matter what the size King, Queen or just a small wall hanging. Please enter. We will be giving out lots of great prizes. The contest will last until next June. If you love a quilt–let me know.
I am on my annual trip to St Louis Mo. To see what is new with Baby Lock sewing machines.
The new 10 needle Enterprise is an amazing machine that far surpases the BMP9. It is a machine that has the capabilities of a commercial embroidery machine with the ease of use of a home machine. I think that all will be impressed with its many upgraded features.
Look forward to seeing you soon.
Hello, I am sorry if any of you have been trying to get in touch with me lately and have found it difficult. I was in a car accident about a month ago. I know, not another one…..Anyway, I apologize for any inconvience that it may have caused. I am back part-time and working at Fabric Depot on the weekend. I should be back full time by mid September. If you need to get ahold of me leave a message with Bonnie at Fabric Depot. She is great about taking messages for me, you can comment on my blog or drop me an email @ email@example.com
I hope to be back shortly.
We are having an embroidered Quilt contest at our Fabric Depot location. We have had some great entries already. Come check out these beautiful quilts. I will be posting some pictures later this weekend. If you have any questions, or want to enter a quilt in our contest please call me at 503-262-6734 – or just bring your quilt in. We would like some basic information about you and your quilt (name, quilt pattern, embroidery design, and what machine you used).
