Bernina L 860 & L 890 Serger Mastery Class
Led by PJ Wong
In this two-session class, you'll learn to master your Bernina Overlocker as you work step by step through fun and informative hands-on activities. These classes are designed for Bernina L860 and L890 machines only.
In the first session (4 hours), you'll learn to care for your machine and how to use specialty functions to customize machine settings to your needs. You’ll learn to use the most important stitches on your machine, such as 3 and 4-thread overlock stitches, three-thread Rolled Hem, and Flatlock stitches. You’ll also learn about the many creative stitch options of your machine, and some techniques for securing seams and working with corners.
Then in the second session (2 hours), you will learn about combo, chain, cover stitch, and variations.
Both sessions will be back-to-back on the same day, for 6 hours total. Please bring your machine and all its accessories. We will provide fabric & thread.
This class is free for customers who purchased their Bernina machine from Montavilla Sewing Centers. Please call one of our locations to register.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Class, club, and event fees are nonrefundable. You must cancel 72 hours before the first session of the class, club, or event to receive store credit or apply the fee to another class, club or event. However, if the instructor or Montavilla Sewing Centers has to cancel a class, club, or event, you have the option for a store credit or full refund. Students must bring their own machines to all classes, unless otherwise noted. We request that you do not bring children or guests to the classes. Thank you!
