Bernina Sewing & Embroidery Mastery Class

In this class, you'll learn to master your Bernina sewing or embroidery machine as you work step by step through fun and informative hands-on activities. These classes are designed for the following Bernina models: 880 Plus, 790 PRO, 790 Plus, 770 QE Plus, 770 QE, 740, 735, 590, 570QE, 535, 480, 475QE, and the 435 only.

Our Portland, Beaverton, & Gresham classes will be in two 6-hour sessions. Our Lake Oswego classes will either be four 2.5 hour classes, or two 2.5 hour classes and a third 6-hour class. If you notice any classes at Lake Oswego that are only three sessions, the third session will be from 10am - 4pm.

In the first class at Portland, Beaverton, & Gresham (or the first two classes at Lake Oswego), you'll learn to care for your machine and how to use specialty functions to customize machine settings to your needs. You’ll learn to use the most important utility stitches on your machine, such as straight stitches, overlock stitches, long stitches, blind hem, and buttonholes. You’ll also learn about the many creative options of your machine, including decorative stitches, combi mode, free-motion stitching, and more.

Then in the second Portland, Beaverton, & Gresham class (or the third & fourth classes at Lake Oswego), you will learn everything you need to embroider with your machine successfully, including setting up your machine for embroidery, customizing machine settings, navigating embroidery screens, adding lettering, editing designs, placing designs, changing thread colors and more. Even if you don't have an embroidery module, your machine is equipped with an embroidery mode and its full set of features, so you'll still be able to participate in class.

Please bring your machine and all its accessories. We will provide fabric & thread.
