Finishing School

Every now and then, I offer a class aimed at helping students complete a project that has become the monster on a wall - or in a box. The pesky UFOs that tend to congregate in your sewing room and breed like rabbits. In some cases, you may be able to get back into the saddle yourself but in others, you need a helping hand to get back on track. If that's the case, this is the class you want.
Attending students will bring their unfinished projects along with the materials and tools needed to work on them, and I will help you complete them or at least jump start the process to get you going again. Any projects started in one of my classes will be welcome, though classes taken from other instructors can be brought as well, as long as you still have the instructions or pattern from the original class. Depending on the stage of completion, some projects may not get finished in class, the goal is to ignite your enthusiasm and focus for completing your project and overcome any difficulties that may have may have derailed you in the first place.
Enroll and we will tackle your problem child together. Please contact me for further consultation if you are unsure about supplies you will need for your project, or no longer have your original instructional material.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Class, club, and event fees are nonrefundable. You must cancel 72 hours before the first session of the class, club, or event to receive store credit or apply the fee to another class, club or event. However, if the instructor or Montavilla Sewing Centers has to cancel a class, club, or event, you have the option for a store credit or full refund. Students must bring their own machines to all classes, unless otherwise noted. We request that you do not bring children or guests to the classes. Thank you!
