Free Standing Lace Snowman
Free standing lace. There are so many fun projects with this technique using your embroidery machine. Not only can you make doilies, attach lace to tablecloths but you can make FSL flowers, pumpkins, leaves, butterflies, candy houses, etc. You will learn how to read the directions and how to do appliqué. Lots of samples to get you motivated!!
This will be two classes; the first class will be stitching out the design and the second will be putting it together. There is quite a bit to learn and helpful hints will be taught all along the way. You will need to purchase the FSL Snowman OESD pattern (Freestanding Lace Snowman 2) from the store or on-line. Signing up for the class will give you a discount for supplies purchased and the design.
Supply List
- You will need to bring your sewing machine and embroidery unit with design downloaded on your machine.
- Make sure your machine is in good working order.
- Hoop: 5 x 7
- 1 large spool white embroidery thread
- 4 wound bobbins of white embroidery thread (same as top thread)
- Badgemaster stabilizer
- Wash away stabilizer
- 80/12 needle preferably Titanium

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Class, club, and event fees are nonrefundable. You must cancel 72 hours before the first session of the class, club, or event to receive store credit or apply the fee to another class, club or event. However, if the instructor or Montavilla Sewing Centers has to cancel a class, club, or event, you have the option for a store credit or full refund. Students must bring their own machines to all classes, unless otherwise noted. We request that you do not bring children or guests to the classes. Thank you!
