Intro to Machine Embroidery: Faberge Cutwork Egg
Led by Elaine Knippers
Faberge Eggs were originally created for Easter Gifts in the Russian Imperial Family. While you may not have a royal title, you will be stitching using techniques like cutwork and fringe embroidery to make a beautiful Faberge Egg. Once embroidered we will frame this beautiful egg in an original Kimberbell bamboo hoop. We will decorate with ribbons and pom pom trim.
Supply List
You will need a 4 x 4 inch embroidery hoop and wash-away stabilizer. You may choose a background fabric of your choice. Kimberbell hoops will be available in the Lake Oswego store for purchase using your class discount and pom poms will be provided.
