Intro to Machine Embroidery - Flower Zipper Clutch

Come and learn a different type of machine embroidery. Here we will learn how a design is secured with a whimsical outline stitch. We will learn a simple way to do zippers easily and come away with a cute flower clutch. Come ready to have some fun and learn a new technique!
To participate in this class, you need to know how to operate your embroidery machine and understand basic machine embroidery concepts. Please bring your embroidery machine to class.
Supply List
- Embroidery machine with 6" x 10" embroidery hoop
- Either Power Mesh or cut-away stabilizer
- Fabric A: Main Fabric & Back - 1 fat eighth
- Fabric B: Lining - 1 fat eighth
- Fabrics C-F - Scraps
- 8-inch Zipper
- Batting - 8" x 9" or larger
- Standard embroidery supplies

Class, club, and event fees are nonrefundable. You must cancel 72 hours before the first session of the class, club, or event to receive store credit or apply the fee to another class, club or event. However, if the instructor or Montavilla Sewing Centers has to cancel a class, club, or event, you have the option for a store credit or full refund. Students must bring their own machines to all classes, unless otherwise noted. We request that you do not bring children or guests to the classes. Thank you!
