Intro to Machine Embroidery: Gift Pockets
Embroidery machines are great for embellishing your projects and garments with pretty motifs and personalizing your items with monograms, but they can do SEW much more! These Gift Pockets can be made for Valentine's Day, Get Well Soon, Thinking of You to name a few. All can be slid into the pockets for a thoughtful gift to brighten anyone's day!
Supply List
For this class you will need 5 x 7 inch hoop, Firm tearaway Stabilizer.
Fabric 1: Background Fabric cut into:
- (1) 5 1/2" x 6 1/2 inch piece and
- (2) 9 x 12 inch felt sheets in color of your choice (Aqua for bandaid card)
- (2) 9 x12 inch pieces of Gray felt if doing "Thinking of You" card
- Flexible Foam interfacing will be provided if doing "Get well Card"
- Glitter Sheet in color of your choice
- Fusible Woven Interfacing or Shape Flex 101

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Class, club, and event fees are nonrefundable. You must cancel 72 hours before the first session of the class, club, or event to receive store credit or apply the fee to another class, club or event. However, if the instructor or Montavilla Sewing Centers has to cancel a class, club, or event, you have the option for a store credit or full refund. Students must bring their own machines to all classes, unless otherwise noted. We request that you do not bring children or guests to the classes. Thank you!
