Let's Make A Cape

There are so many different reasons why everyone needs a cape. You can wear it to your favorite Renaissance Fair, use it as a coat for formal affairs, wear it to the opera or have it to accompany and enhance your Halloween costume.
Join me for this 2 session class where you will create a beautiful cape that is made from fabrics and trims that you choose and will love to sew with.
We will begin by learning how to lay out the pattern and cut and mark the fabrics. Next, we will begin to sew the pieces together to create your beautiful cape. During this class you will learn basic dress making and hand stitching techniques, how to work with different fabrics and most importantly how to sew a garment that looks professionally made that you will be excited to wear.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Class, club, and event fees are nonrefundable. You must cancel 72 hours before the first session of the class, club, or event to receive store credit or apply the fee to another class, club or event. However, if the instructor or Montavilla Sewing Centers has to cancel a class, club, or event, you have the option for a store credit or full refund. Students must bring their own machines to all classes, unless otherwise noted. We request that you do not bring children or guests to the classes. Thank you!
