Posh Santa

Santa is so Posh and full of personality with his floppy hat and stylish beard in this fun holiday treasure! It is just the right size for a great door quilt to greet all the holiday guests! Follow the color and print choice, or create your own unique Santa*. In this class Lisa will share her tips and tricks on how to use Curved Mini Ruler. This class is for a Strong Beginner, must have knowledge of quilting and how to use sewing machine.

- Posh Santa Pattern
- Quick Curve Ruler Mini (QCRM)
- Rotary Cutter
- Cutting mat
- SHARP blade
- Small scissors
- Pins
- Marking tool
- Labeling paper (scrap paper works)
- 4 or 5 of pieces of scrap fabric for practice in the following sizes: 5x5, 4 ½ x7 ½ ,5 ½x 5 ½, 3 ½ x 5 2.5x4.5
- Sewing Machine and supplies (thread, needle, bobbins, cords). If you would like to use a classroom machine for this class, please contact the store in advance
Prior to class, cut out only the squares and rectangles as per the “General Cutting Instructions” and label by size and what the fabric is used for (I recommend starching and pressing fabric well before cutting). Labeling your pieces will help your project go more smoothly. Because you will have precut your pieces, we will get right to learning how to read and use the Curved Mini Ruler. Starting with scrap fabric, we will cut and sew the different required curved pieces and then move on to the “Santa” fabric. The rest of the class will be a time of sewing and I will be there to help you every step of the way; I can’t wait to see what you create!*Prints are great, but directional fabrics are not recommended for this project

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Class, club, and event fees are nonrefundable. You must cancel 72 hours before the first session of the class, club, or event to receive store credit or apply the fee to another class, club or event. However, if the instructor or Montavilla Sewing Centers has to cancel a class, club, or event, you have the option for a store credit or full refund. Students must bring their own machines to all classes, unless otherwise noted. We request that you do not bring children or guests to the classes. Thank you!
