Textured Word Puzzle Collage
In this class you will learn a method of drafting puzzle-style letters to make words. The words will then be appliqued in fabrics of your choice to make a small quilt or runner that makes a statement – literally. Using this lettering technique you can even configure the word to fit into shapes that represent the theme or subject of the word. Those of you who are children of the 60’s may remember this as a popular lettering style on old concert posters from that era. Unleash your word power and creativity with this class to make your own statement in fabric. This would be a fun project for a table runner with a phrase like Bon Appetit, or Happy Thanksgiving, and the technique could be a fun way of making alphabet blocks for a child's quilt with words for each letter; the possibilities are endless.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Class, club, and event fees are nonrefundable. You must cancel 72 hours before the first session of the class, club, or event to receive store credit or apply the fee to another class, club or event. However, if the instructor or Montavilla Sewing Centers has to cancel a class, club, or event, you have the option for a store credit or full refund. Students must bring their own machines to all classes, unless otherwise noted. We request that you do not bring children or guests to the classes. Thank you!
